Event Single Page: How to enable comments

JT Event Calendar 8 (or greater) gives you the option to use Facebook or Disqus comments on an event's single page. Using the instructions you can find below, you will be able to enable this feature and give your users the option to leave a comment on an event's single page.

Enable Comments

First of all, you have to select if you want to use Facebook comments or Disqus for your events. To do this, please follow these instructions:
  1. Go to Events -> Settings page.
  2. In the Comments tab, select if you want to use Facebook comments or Disqus.
  3. If you select Disqus, you have to add "Disqus Website Name" (shortname). You can find more info here.
  4. Save Changes.
 

Enable/Disable comments for your events

Now, you are able to enable/disable comments for a specific event of your site. In order to do this, you have to:
  1. Go to Events page.
  2. Edit one of the events.
  3. In the Settings tab (General Settings box), select if you want to enable/disable comments.
That's it! Your site's users are now able to post comments on your events' pages.
